Modern Rustic-Contemporary Retreat | Finger Lakes, NY

This custom residential build required a high-durability exterior that could disappear into the wooded region of the Finger Lakes. The goal was a monochromatic-modern aesthetic- using deep, charcoal tones for the roofing, siding, and trim to create a seamless, sophisticated profile that stands up to snow and high-moisture lakeside environments.

We provided a complete, shop-fabricated building envelope, guaranteing every transition (from the steeply pitched roof gables to the custom-bent window trim) was executed within 1/16" precision.

Roofing: We manufactured a Standing Seam system in a Dark Grey Crinkle Cut finish, chosen for its hidden fastener security and superior snow-shedding capabilities.

Siding: We utilized our shop-fabricated Burnt Charcoal Woodgrain Board and Batten metal siding to achieve a Modern-Rustic look that vinyl simply can't replicate. Unlike standard siding options that can warp, sag, or crack under the extreme temperature swings of Upstate New York, this steel system provides a rigid, high-impact exterior with a finish that eliminates the need for future painting or repairs.

Integrated Trim & Gutters: Every flashing and gutter component was color-matched and precision-formed in our Penn Yan shop to maintain the home’s sleek, unified color palette.
