High-Contrast Durability for a Contemporary Build
This new construction in Geneva required a roofing system that could provide both a bold architectural statement and long-term structural integrity. The design called for a clean, monochromatic contrast against the white vertical siding; requiring a roof with perfectly straight lines and a flawless finish that wouldn't fade over time.
For this project, we served as the precision manufacturing partner, providing custom-fabricated metal roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, and flashings designed to fit the exact dimensions of this multi-level modern home.
Roofing: We manufactured and installed a Standing Seam metal roof in a Black Crinkle finish. By using a hidden fastener system, we ensured a sleek, fastener-free appearance that eliminates the thousands of potential leak points found in traditional through-fastened roofs.
Siding: To create the home’s crisp, high-contrast exterior, we manufactured our 10-inch Board and Batten siding in Bright White Crinkle. Its clean vertical profile complements the roofline and delivers the contemporary look the design called for.
Soffit and Fascia: Golden Oak Woodgrain soffit and fascia add warmth and natural texture to the black-and-white palette. Manufactured by our team, these details provide a refined finish along the home’s roof edges and overhangs.
Precision-Bent Flashings: We also fabricated the custom roof flashings and ridge caps in our Penn Yan shop to 1/16-inch accuracy. This ensures watertight transitions at every roof pitch and gable end, helping protect the home from the wind and rain common throughout the Finger Lakes region.
Engineered Certainty: Because we control production from the master coil to the final panel, every manufactured component (from the Black Crinkle standing seam roof to the Bright White Crinkle siding and Golden Oak Woodgrain trim) delivers consistent color, quality, and a finish built to maintain its "Day One" look for decades.
